Recent Purchases #2

Time for another recent purchases post, I seem to have collected up enough items. Although look out for a post on some books that I have purchased next week.

Turquoise dress £10 from Boohoo

Coral dress £12 from Boohoo

Bikini coverup maxi dress from New Look this was £16.99

My mum purchased this for Ben from Tu at Sainsburys

T-shirt and sweatshirt both John Lewis

Suitcase this is for Ben as we only had our own suitcases and a small cabin sized one. This was from TK Maxx and cost £45.

T-shirts (all £1.30) and shorts (£6 I think) all Primark

Short and t-shirt sets £5 and £6 from Primark (I thought these would be good on holiday for day trips or putting on for breakfast and lunch)

Shorts all from Nutmeg at Morrisons were £5 or £6

As you can tell this is all holiday shopping. Ben didn't have anything and I really wanted some new bits to wear, I like to dress up in the evening, and want Ben to look fairly smart too.

Ben's Great Nan has bought him some bits, so they'll be in my next recent purchases post I would imagine.

Recent Purchases #1

I've decided to start changing the title of my haul posts, as I'm becoming to despise that word, haha! I'm going to start doing 'Recent Purchases' posts instead, and combine items that I've bought over a few weeks in one post. As I'm currently on a bit of a spending ban, mostly that's on clothes, accessories and non essential beauty products though.

So my biggest purchase in the past few weeks has been renewing next years season ticket for Norwich City. Most of you probably don't know I am a supporter of them, and have now been a season ticket holder for just over 10 years. So I am now £500 down from that!

I've been wanting an icing set for a while, I really want to start baking cupcakes, and do some nice icing on top, so time to get practicing! I was debating whether or not to get the set in the tin or not, I thought if I don't where will I store the nozzles? And I'd probably end up losing them. I purchased this set from Amazon.

A few weeks back we bought Ben this cute set of stops from Nutmeg at Morrison's whilst doing our food shop, I think they were £7 for all three.

I've also been to look in Zara, as I saw that they had some cute new things online. The star top and fish t-shirt I remember seeing on their website. The jumper was a little extra purchase because I love stripes and the coral/orange colour is something a bit different on boys clothes. There's still a couple of things I've seen online that I'd like to purchase for him, will have to keep checking our local shop, as they had hardly any boys clothes compared to girls.

I think loads of people have purchased these! Fleur's and Tanya's books. I love them, similar topics but so different. And I love that Tanya has included some background of her life, especially as she grew up in Norwich (or near to).

That's all I've bought, not too much. Although I will be making a trip to Boots on Saturday as L'Oreal have a two for £12 deal there at the moment, and plan on picking up new bottles of my foundation. Got to save whilst I can, and I will run out of foundation soon enough.

Toddler Haul - Tu, H&M, Next, Matalan and Nutmeg

Sorry it's another clothing haul for Ben, but I always find it's nice to see what is currently in the shops, without actually walking around them all, haha!

These items are all from Tu by Sainsbury's, my mum actually purchased these when there was 25% off their clothing (something the do quite regularly). The tops came as a pack of three, and are in perfect Autumn colours, and go really well with the trousers (which are double lined).

These shirts I purchased from H&M. I always like to have a few shirts for Ben to wear so he can look smarter if we're going out some where nice.

These were all purchased from Matalan - I hadn't been in there for ages. I chose these because they're both purple, a different colour, I like that. And he has that purple cardigan that his Great Nan bought him whilst we were in France, and it would look great as an extra layer. We also needed some socks, I was finding that I kept washing one of a pair and would be left with only a couple of pairs to choose from, plus these are actually done in shoe sizes, rather than by age. And they're slightly bigger than the socks he's been wearing recently so should last him a while.

I love getting into the Christmas spirit, and Ben is gradually growing out of his 12-18 month sleepsuits. These pair of pyjamas are by Nutmeg (find them in Morrisons) and was part of their baby range as that goes up to 24 months. I think these were £6.

I was on a hunt for some 18-24 month trousers/jeans with adjustable waist and would look good turned up and had an inner lining. Next came to my rescue! I love the children's clothes in there, every time I go in I find something I like. These all cost around £12.

Lastly some more Christmas items, these were from Matalan. He'll be wearing the elf top on 1st December. The reindeer sleepsuit I'll be saving to go in his Christmas Eve box, but the other he'll be wearing from the beginning of December. The top was only £4 (and is printed front and back) and the sleepsuits were a pack of two for £8.

Sorry I can't remember all the prices, but nothing was overly expensive.
