My Beauty and Make-up Bags Menorca 2015

After posting Ben's toiletries I thought you would be interested to know what I'm taking.

This is my make-up I'm taking (along with the little amount that's in my carry on). So base wise I have my L'Oreal True Match Foundation in a darker colour, and I'm skipping a powder and just bringing my bronzer and highlighting powders. I have a highlighting concealer as well, and 3 blushes. I have my mascara, and Urban Decay Primer Potion. Also not pictured I am taking my Naked Palettes - I have numbers 2 and 3. But I figured most people know what they look like so I skipped photographing them. Then I have some lip sticks, lip pencils, and lipglosses. I wear zero make-up throughout the day, and just put it on in the evening for our meals. I can't sunbath and wear make-up that's just not good!

Most of my products are in this one toiletry bag.

I have a mini bottle of nail varnish remover, my toothpaste, my Nads Ingrown Hair solution (for my bikini line) and my snap razor.

Next hair care. I got the shampoo and conditioner on 3 for 2 in Boots. I don't condition every time I was my hair, And Steve will probably use some of the shampoo that's why there's 2. I have my mini heat protectants and hairspray, then my Batiste as. From post experience my hair gets super greasy from spending the day sunbathing, but if I can help it I don't want to wash my hair everyday (which I have ended up doing in the past as I haven't bought dry shampoo with me) so dry shampoo is now an essential.

I have a couple of masks that I picked up in Primark, and have popped some exfoliator in the little pot.

As I will be washing my face 3 times a day (morning, evening and night time) I have quite a lot of skincare with me. Soap and Glory's Peaches and Clean will probably get used morning and night, The Simple Refreshing Facial Wash I will use in the shower - early evening (after a day by the pool/beach/trip out, before dinner) and the Bioderma is to take off the majority of my make-up. I also have some face wipes - I only ever use them on holiday!

Toners, moisturisers, eyecream, and my spot fighting Sebium AKN.

I got my suncream in a set, and it came in this handy bag.

As I always go for the Tan and Protect range by Soltan, I spotted this set with Factor's 30 and 15 and an aftersun! Was about £13 I think! Snapped it up right away. I then found the face suncream in the same range in factor 30. And I've managed to squeeze in my exfoliator for my body as well.

Holiday Series: Make-up

This is my make-up that I'll be applying at around 2:30am the day we travel, and keeping on me for touch ups and for use the following morning whilst staying in the hotel. For my base I have Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream, with Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Garnier Roll-On anti dark circle concealer and L'Oreal Lumi Magique as my concealers. My powder is my all time favourite Rimmel Clear Complexion. The blush is a Liz Earle cream blush in Rose. I chose cream as it can be applied with my fingers. And for my eyes I have Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion (the only thing that will keep my eyeshadow in place), Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze, L'Oreal Color Riche eyeshadow in 204 Golden Nude, Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky, Rimmel ScandalEyes eyeliner in nude, Maybelline the Rocket Volum Express mascara in Waterproof and a No 7 Eyeshadow Blend and Contour brush.

For my make-up bag that's packed in my case, I have a few extra items (or maybe a lot!). Starting with the face I have L'Oreal True Match Foundation in N2 Vanilla (this is a darker shade than what I normally use), Makeup Academy Undress Your Skin highlighter, NYC Mosaic Face Powder All-Over Bronze Glow, Natural Collection blushes in Peach Melba (middle) and Pink Cloud, and Sleek blush in Rose Gold.

I am taking both of my Urban Decay Naked palettes, 2 and 3.

I also have a small Rimmel palette in Glamorous Topaz and another Collection Eyeshadow Pencil, this time in Vintage Blush. For mascara I have Liz Earle Lash Definition Smudgeproof and L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Noir Excess. And a selection of different coloured eyeliners.

I probably have far to many lip products (but I will be away for just over 2 weeks, and it's not exactly a laying by the pool holiday either!). Let's start with the lip pencils, I have one L'Oreal Glam Shine in Die For Guava, and 2 Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm stains in Rendezvous and Honey, along with a Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Complex. I also have a load of lipglosses; Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in Keep  Secret, Liz Earle Sheer Lip Gloss in Mallow, Tanya Burr Cosmetics lipgloss in Afternoon Tea, Revlon lipgloss in Coral Reef and a Rimmel Apocalips in Luna.

Finally lipsticks! Here we have Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake, Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me, Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Peach, two L'Oreal Caresse lipstains in Dating Coral and Lovely Rose and finally MUA Lipstick in shade 15 Juicy.

Current Everyday Make-up

As it's Summer (and it's actually been a pretty good one for us in England) I like to start off with a light base. Currently I'm using Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream in Light I just use my fingers to apply this. As this is really sheer I then use Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light (I am aware they have changed the colour names since I purchased - but don't knot what colour I would be now) to cover up any blemishes and scars that I have. I dab this one using the dophur applicator and then pat it in with my fingers. To set my base I use Rimmel's Clear Complexion Powder in Transparent, as it helps to keep me matte as well as keep my base from coming off. I apply this with a Real Techniques Powder Brush. I like to add a bit of colour to my cheeks using Natural Collection's blush in Pink Cloud. My current go to mascara is Maybelline's Volum' Express The Rocket in Black Waterproof. I find none waterproof mascara tends to melt off in the heat, plus you never know when it's going to rain, even if it is a hot day.

Haul #1

I thought I'd do a haul post on some beauty bits that I have picked up recently.

Starting with some nail products. I've been using OPI Nail Envy, on my nails forever. I use it as a base coat before I apply my chosen colour of nail varnish. It did improve the quality of my nails. But with the job that I do I can't wear nail varnish at work, so it's limited to when I can use it. Ever since I got pregnant though my nails have just got super strong & grow really quickly. I still however use it under my nail varnish, now I'm on maternity leave. I needed a top coat and had heard good things about this Sally Hansen Insta-Dri so decided to pick it up whilst in Boots, as I always smudge my nails and will have even less time to paint them once I'm looking after my son.

Next I picked up some back-ups. These are products I have now repurchased at least 3/4 times now. Firstly I use the Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder in translucent. I love this powder and it's only £3.99. My go to foundation is L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation, I use the shade N1 Ivory which is my Winter shade. I've actually started using this already as my other one ran out. Lastly the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade 2 Light, again this is my Winter colour. Although I normally stick with the same shade throughout the whole year & just blend it out more when I'm tanned.

I also wanted to try out this Aveeno Positively Radiant Serum as it's meant to help even out your skin tone and get rid of scarring. I have a lot of acne scarring and hoping this will help with it. So I'll have to see how it goes. Also looking to invest in the eye cream in the same line as well.

Lastly I picked up the Batiste Dry Shampoo, I got the bigger can so it lasts me longer. I use this when my hair is looking oily and I haven't got time to wash it. Again I will have less time when my little boy is here.

So that's all the beauty products I've been buying recently. What have you been buying, and would you recommend them? I'm always looking to try new products.
