What's In My Suitcase Menorca 2015

Here's what I have packed for myself.

6 bikinis

3 bags - a beach bag, evening bag, and everyday bag (for trips)

4 bikini cover-ups

3 everyday outfits of shorts and tops

My flipflops and sandals

Everyday dresses

Cardigans

Maxi dresses

Dresses

More dresses

And more dresses

I like to get a bit more dressed up in the evening. And I prefer not to wear the same dress twice in the evening, although I will have too. Haha!

I'm hoping to get some outfit pictures of us whilst we're away, so hopefully you'll get to see these on. But most of them are older dresses that you won't be able to get hold of any more. And my bikinis are all atleast 2 years old as well. And anything I've bought I in my haul/recent purchases posts so check out them!

I also have a couple of hats, and obviously jewellery and hair accessories as well.

What's In Ben's suitcase Menorca 2015

This is what I have packed for Ben for our holiday. As well as what is photographed I've also added and extra cardigan and another t-shirt. I also have his going home outfit (just some trackies and a long sleeved top and vest). On the way there he will be travelling in his pyjamas with a vest underneath, and I also have a sweatshirt to put on him as well. As our flight is early in the morning, and have to leave our house shortly after midnight, so I figured that was the best thing for him to travel in.

Some basic short and t-shirt outfits, To wear for breakfast/lunch/trips.

Swimming costumes and hats

Swimming nappies, towel poncho and arm bands

Shoes! Fake crocs, smart sandals, jellys, swim/beach shoes, doodles and smart shoes.

4 pairs of trousers that can all be turned up. The first two are from Jojo Maman Bebe, this year. The other two are from last year.

Short dungarees from Zara

Shorts for daytime or evening - these are all from last year and still fit.

Everyday shorts from Jojo Maman Bebe. These are actually slightly too big, but luckily have a drawstring waist so can make them smaller.

Shorts to wear in the evening for dinner.

Shirts to wear in the evening

A couple of thicker items if it's cooler. But in the evening the entertainment is done inside.

T-shirts for daytime or evening

More t-shirts

And more t-shirts

Also a couple of day hats and sunglasses. The sunglasses were £1 each from Primark so it doesn't really matter if he won't wear them.

As I've said before I've tried to even out the weight of the suitcases and got items for each of us in each suitcase. Have also taken lots of nappies and wipes.

My Beauty and Make-up Bags Menorca 2015

After posting Ben's toiletries I thought you would be interested to know what I'm taking.

This is my make-up I'm taking (along with the little amount that's in my carry on). So base wise I have my L'Oreal True Match Foundation in a darker colour, and I'm skipping a powder and just bringing my bronzer and highlighting powders. I have a highlighting concealer as well, and 3 blushes. I have my mascara, and Urban Decay Primer Potion. Also not pictured I am taking my Naked Palettes - I have numbers 2 and 3. But I figured most people know what they look like so I skipped photographing them. Then I have some lip sticks, lip pencils, and lipglosses. I wear zero make-up throughout the day, and just put it on in the evening for our meals. I can't sunbath and wear make-up that's just not good!

Most of my products are in this one toiletry bag.

I have a mini bottle of nail varnish remover, my toothpaste, my Nads Ingrown Hair solution (for my bikini line) and my snap razor.

Next hair care. I got the shampoo and conditioner on 3 for 2 in Boots. I don't condition every time I was my hair, And Steve will probably use some of the shampoo that's why there's 2. I have my mini heat protectants and hairspray, then my Batiste as. From post experience my hair gets super greasy from spending the day sunbathing, but if I can help it I don't want to wash my hair everyday (which I have ended up doing in the past as I haven't bought dry shampoo with me) so dry shampoo is now an essential.

I have a couple of masks that I picked up in Primark, and have popped some exfoliator in the little pot.

As I will be washing my face 3 times a day (morning, evening and night time) I have quite a lot of skincare with me. Soap and Glory's Peaches and Clean will probably get used morning and night, The Simple Refreshing Facial Wash I will use in the shower - early evening (after a day by the pool/beach/trip out, before dinner) and the Bioderma is to take off the majority of my make-up. I also have some face wipes - I only ever use them on holiday!

Toners, moisturisers, eyecream, and my spot fighting Sebium AKN.

I got my suncream in a set, and it came in this handy bag.

As I always go for the Tan and Protect range by Soltan, I spotted this set with Factor's 30 and 15 and an aftersun! Was about £13 I think! Snapped it up right away. I then found the face suncream in the same range in factor 30. And I've managed to squeeze in my exfoliator for my body as well.

My Carry On Menorca 2015

For my carry on bag I'm using this massive bag from Primark - and it does fit within the regulations, plus It's not totally full so can be squashed down. I bought this a few years ago, but I'm sure they would have something similar in there now.

Firstly I have any liquids and pain relief, Ben's toothbrush and toothpaste, some make-up and a hair tie. I also need to add in some ibuprofen for me just in case. The bag I bought off amazon, got a set of 5 for really cheap.

Some essentials for Ben, blanket, wipes, bib and a small changing mat.

The changing mat has room to store nappies. This is great and I got it free with a magazine. As I said above the mat is really small, but I like to make sure I have something under neath Bens bottom half when I change him in public places. This way I only have to grab the wipes and this mat and can leave Steve with the bags when I go change him.

A few more things for us to do with Ben, a couple of sticker books, another story book, And a plain notepad that we can draw and write in.

For myself I have some face wipes, my tangle teezer and both sets of my Rayban sunglasses.

Can't forget the essentials, my purse (with everything that is not needed removed) and our various travel documents.

A couple of magazines, I'm hoping Ben will amuse himself for a bit so I can flick through these!

Lastly electricals, I actually forgot to add in my ipod and earphones, but it's on my list of things to add into the bag before we leave. Here I have my kindle, camera, tablet & charger and my phone.

Ben's Carry On Menorca 2015

So after my research that I have done on what to take with us on holiday for Ben, this is what is in his carry on. Some things are in mine as they won't fit in his backpack though. You'll see my carry on in the next post.

His monkey backpack is by Skiphop, we bought ours from Jojo Maman Bebe back last year for when we went to France. I love it because it has the front section and a little side pocket as well.

In the front section I've managed to squeeze in a couple of nappies (am planning on us each having 2 on us - just got to put a couple in Steve's carry on when he's sorted it), a pack of playing cards, just for Ben to look at, a Peppa Pig colouring set, which is a little colouring book and some wax crayons. That was only £1 from Wilkos and they had other varieties too. And also his pencil case with some Crayola Twistable crayons, and I also sneaked my pencils for my doing me puzzles in there as well.

In the main section the first things are Ben's sippy cup - we'll just be using this for water on holiday, and will be travelling with it empty. Lots of snacks! I'm not sure what Ben will want to eat, and he needs things to eat during take off and landing to help his ears pop.

An activity book - we will have to help him do this, but there's also some stickers in there! And a colouring book from Poundland.

Some reading books, the Peep Inside one's a great as Ben loves the flaps, and the Busy Airport one has dials to turn.

Lastly a few toys, the dinosaurs I picked up in Morrisons for £1.50, we have a little pack of flash cards from The Early Learning Centre, think these were £2. And some cars that I picked up in B&M.

As regards to drinks I will be taking a bottle of water for us on the coach, which will then be thrown before security. And I always get some water from Boots once we're through security, I always make sure I have enough advantage card points so I don't have to pay for them though! Haha!
