What's In My Suitcase Menorca 2015

Here's what I have packed for myself.

6 bikinis

3 bags - a beach bag, evening bag, and everyday bag (for trips)

4 bikini cover-ups

3 everyday outfits of shorts and tops

My flipflops and sandals

Everyday dresses

Cardigans

Maxi dresses

Dresses

More dresses

And more dresses

I like to get a bit more dressed up in the evening. And I prefer not to wear the same dress twice in the evening, although I will have too. Haha!

I'm hoping to get some outfit pictures of us whilst we're away, so hopefully you'll get to see these on. But most of them are older dresses that you won't be able to get hold of any more. And my bikinis are all atleast 2 years old as well. And anything I've bought I in my haul/recent purchases posts so check out them!

I also have a couple of hats, and obviously jewellery and hair accessories as well.

What's In Ben's suitcase Menorca 2015

This is what I have packed for Ben for our holiday. As well as what is photographed I've also added and extra cardigan and another t-shirt. I also have his going home outfit (just some trackies and a long sleeved top and vest). On the way there he will be travelling in his pyjamas with a vest underneath, and I also have a sweatshirt to put on him as well. As our flight is early in the morning, and have to leave our house shortly after midnight, so I figured that was the best thing for him to travel in.

Some basic short and t-shirt outfits, To wear for breakfast/lunch/trips.

Swimming costumes and hats

Swimming nappies, towel poncho and arm bands

Shoes! Fake crocs, smart sandals, jellys, swim/beach shoes, doodles and smart shoes.

4 pairs of trousers that can all be turned up. The first two are from Jojo Maman Bebe, this year. The other two are from last year.

Short dungarees from Zara

Shorts for daytime or evening - these are all from last year and still fit.

Everyday shorts from Jojo Maman Bebe. These are actually slightly too big, but luckily have a drawstring waist so can make them smaller.

Shorts to wear in the evening for dinner.

Shirts to wear in the evening

A couple of thicker items if it's cooler. But in the evening the entertainment is done inside.

T-shirts for daytime or evening

More t-shirts

And more t-shirts

Also a couple of day hats and sunglasses. The sunglasses were £1 each from Primark so it doesn't really matter if he won't wear them.

As I've said before I've tried to even out the weight of the suitcases and got items for each of us in each suitcase. Have also taken lots of nappies and wipes.

Toddler Haul - Tu, H&M, Next, Matalan and Nutmeg

Sorry it's another clothing haul for Ben, but I always find it's nice to see what is currently in the shops, without actually walking around them all, haha!

These items are all from Tu by Sainsbury's, my mum actually purchased these when there was 25% off their clothing (something the do quite regularly). The tops came as a pack of three, and are in perfect Autumn colours, and go really well with the trousers (which are double lined).

These shirts I purchased from H&M. I always like to have a few shirts for Ben to wear so he can look smarter if we're going out some where nice.

These were all purchased from Matalan - I hadn't been in there for ages. I chose these because they're both purple, a different colour, I like that. And he has that purple cardigan that his Great Nan bought him whilst we were in France, and it would look great as an extra layer. We also needed some socks, I was finding that I kept washing one of a pair and would be left with only a couple of pairs to choose from, plus these are actually done in shoe sizes, rather than by age. And they're slightly bigger than the socks he's been wearing recently so should last him a while.

I love getting into the Christmas spirit, and Ben is gradually growing out of his 12-18 month sleepsuits. These pair of pyjamas are by Nutmeg (find them in Morrisons) and was part of their baby range as that goes up to 24 months. I think these were £6.

I was on a hunt for some 18-24 month trousers/jeans with adjustable waist and would look good turned up and had an inner lining. Next came to my rescue! I love the children's clothes in there, every time I go in I find something I like. These all cost around £12.

Lastly some more Christmas items, these were from Matalan. He'll be wearing the elf top on 1st December. The reindeer sleepsuit I'll be saving to go in his Christmas Eve box, but the other he'll be wearing from the beginning of December. The top was only £4 (and is printed front and back) and the sleepsuits were a pack of two for £8.

Sorry I can't remember all the prices, but nothing was overly expensive.

Haul - Zara, New Look and H&M

In the run up to Autumn I decided to make a couple of new purchases, as I've recently sorted out my clothes and have now got a pile to take to the textile bank to recycle.

From Zara I picked up this grey long sleeved top with lace on the sleeves. I've been wanting a grey top for a while, and I loved the lace detail, it just gives it a little something extra.

When sorting out my clothes I realised I didn't have a plain black t-shirt, for those days when you don't know what to wear and can't go wrong with jeans and a t-shirt. So I got this also from Zara.

I really wanted a new skater dress for this Autumn/Winter. I've missed being able to wear dresses as last year I was breastfeeding and the year before pregnant. I love the different texture of this dress, I bought this from H&M and I think this may be what I wear on Christmas Day.

I was also on a hunt for a grey cardigan, and I found this one in New Look. It's totally different from any cardigans that I own, I love the exposed zips on the front, and the faux leather detail on the cuffs of the arm sleeves.

Boys Toddler Haul

I've recently bought Ben a few new things, that I thought I would share with you.

Firstly we took a trip to H&M Kids, all these items were in the sale. They are selling some t-shirts for £1, and you just can't say no to that much of a bargain. If you haven't you must go and check it out. All the t-shirts I got in 18-24 months. Ben will be 18 months in October, but I find that H&M sizes run quite big, and some of Ben's 12-18 months clothes still look really big on him. So I'm hoping he'll be able to wear these next Summer, if not then we can layer him up in the winter with a plain white long-sleeved vest/top under neath. The cardigan is 12-18 though, I mainly bought it as a light cover up for cooler days, and when we're on holiday and the cooler days & evenings there.

We also popped into Jojo Maman Bebe (has to be one of my favourite baby shops) and got this super cute London themed sleepsuit, for £14. And some sunglasses to protect his eyes on the sunnier days here & on holiday, and these were only £5.

On a separate shopping trip my aim was to get Ben some shoes for his holiday. He is currently wearing a size 3F that we bought in Clarks when we first got his feet measured. So far these are the only pair I have gotten. Cute little jelly shoes from Boots Mini Club. I did pick them up in a size 4 after trying them on him there is plenty of room to grow, so hopefully will still fit come our holiday (we go in September). Still plan on getting another couple of pairs of new shoes, my boyfriend would like to get him some croc style shoes. And I also plan on taking a trip to Clarks a few days before we go to get his feet measured, just to check his size and if his then current pair of main shoes are still okay for him to wear.
