Recent Purchases #2

Time for another recent purchases post, I seem to have collected up enough items. Although look out for a post on some books that I have purchased next week.

Turquoise dress £10 from Boohoo

Coral dress £12 from Boohoo

Bikini coverup maxi dress from New Look this was £16.99

My mum purchased this for Ben from Tu at Sainsburys

T-shirt and sweatshirt both John Lewis

Suitcase this is for Ben as we only had our own suitcases and a small cabin sized one. This was from TK Maxx and cost £45.

T-shirts (all £1.30) and shorts (£6 I think) all Primark

Short and t-shirt sets £5 and £6 from Primark (I thought these would be good on holiday for day trips or putting on for breakfast and lunch)

Shorts all from Nutmeg at Morrisons were £5 or £6

As you can tell this is all holiday shopping. Ben didn't have anything and I really wanted some new bits to wear, I like to dress up in the evening, and want Ben to look fairly smart too.

Ben's Great Nan has bought him some bits, so they'll be in my next recent purchases post I would imagine.

Haul - River Island, Primark and The Body Shop

With the impending holiday, I really wanted to buy some new earrings, for some reason I always like new earrings to wear on holiday. Very strange.

I picked up these three sets from River Island, they have some really nice pieces for very reasonable prices. As you can see these were all £2 each.

I also found this set of earrings for £1.50 in Primark, if they go a funny colour or you lose them it doesn't really matter for how little you pay for them. I went for a silver set, as I normally go for gold stud earrings, and I love the pale pink colour that's on some of them. I also picked up this daisy bun hair tie. I already have a hair doughnut, that I don't use much, but thought on a hot day with this hair tie around it to help cover any left over hair it would look really pretty and add a little something extra.

Lastly I stopped off in The Body Shop, I must be honest and say I haven't been in there in years. But with people raving about the Chamomile Cleansing Oil (£10.00), and the Raspberry Body Scrub (£12.50), I had to go and purchase them to see what all the fuss is about. I also picked up this Blueberry Body Scrub (£5.50) as it was in the sale.

Haul #2

I've recently bought a few new items for my Spring wardrobe, that's if it ever does warm up a bit.

Starting with a couple of light weight shirts, both from Primark around the £10-£12 mark. I purchased these mostly because they'll make breast feeding easier, as I can just undo the buttons. Plus I haven't actually got any light weight shirts/blouses. I'm thinking these will look really nice with a pair of skinny jeans once I can fit in them again.

Next I bought this dress, for £10 (which you can so obviously see from the sticker on the dress). Again I wanted something button up to make life easier. and it's really cute, and can just chuck on a cardigan with if it's chilly.

These were just £5, I have quite a few pairs of ballet flats but they're all darker colours apart from one pair. So I picked up these to add a bit of colour to any outfit.

I've been wanting a faux leather jacket for a while now. I picked this up from Miss Selfridge for £52. I've only worn it a couple of times so far because it's been so cold. But am thinking I may just embrace the cold and wear it anyway with one of my lightweight scarves.
